- A bass and suitable home-practice setup
- Assigned sheet music, chord charts, and exercises

Teaching approach
Technique through meaningful music.
Reading, chord knowledge, playing technique, and muting are taught through music with an immediate practical purpose. Every assigned song or exercise includes a backing track so students can develop timing, listening, and ensemble awareness while they practice.

Practice grows with the student.
Assignments are adjusted to the student’s level, with an emphasis on consistent daily playing and gradual growth.
Practice with the provided backing track each day, beginning at a comfortable tempo and focusing on accurate notes and relaxed technique.
Repeat songs and exercises until reading, chord recognition, playing technique, and muting begin to work together naturally.
Use the backing tracks to strengthen groove, listening, and the ability to play confidently as part of an ensemble.
